The History of VOH Children Home (A Home away from Home) Voice of Heaven
Children Home is the brainchild of Rev.Banerje, its founder. He and his wife Mrs.Flory Banerje as co-founders, had served the orphan and downtrodden children for 17 years. The experience gained over these years made them realise the value of children and out of this passion was born Voice of Heaven Children Home during May 2010.

Voice of Heaven - Children Background
The Children we support are from various places like slums and remote villages. These children grow up in difficult circumstances, suffer from deprivation, exploitation and neglect through no fault of their own and for reasons beyond their control. The children we admit in our home are full orphans, semi orphans, deserved, rag pickers children, Gypsy, Sick parents, mentally affected parents, blind parents and AIDS affected parents.

The History of VOH Children Home (A Home away from Home)
Voice of Heaven Children Home is the brainchild of Rev.Banerje, its founder. He and his wife Mrs.Flory Banerje as co-founders, had served the orphan and downtrodden children for 17 years. The experience gained over these years made them realise the value of children and out of this passion was born Voice of Heaven Children Home during May 2010.
Our home children are treated as our own children. It is our privilege that, our home children are calling as mummy and daddy. It is our proposed intention that all our home children should have access to good education in English medium of studies. Our plans for our children are extended until they get into a good position. At present we are with 14 girls and 7 boys; in all 21 children and 3 caring staff members.
About VOH
Voice of Heaven is a Christian humanitarian organisation working to create a lasting change in the lives of children, families and communities living in poverty and injustice. Voice of Heaven serves all people regardless of religion, caste, race, ethnicity or gender.
The VOH Children’s Home is situated in OMR road IT Highway, Thoraipakkam, Chennai-97. We care for poor, homeless and orphaned children. The home is a very special place which has a big family atmosphere, providing the children with all necessary amenities, allowing them to grow up with love and fellowship.
Focus on Children:
All development work VOH carries out is focused on building the capacity and ability of communities and families to ensure the wellbeing of children. The wellbeing of children includes ensuring that children have access to education, health, protection and shelter.
Our home Children are the beneficiaries of good quality Education, Shelter, Nutritious food, Clothing, Hygiene and Personality development. The Founder and Managing Trustee Mrs.Flory Banerje stays with the children and takes care of all the activities of the home.
All the activities of VOH Children home are governed by VOH Charitable Trust. The trust is a Public Charitable Trust formed with seven trustees and registered under Indian Trust Act and the registration Number is 510/2010 dated 12/05/2010 and registered at the Office of the Sub-Registrar, Neelangarai, Chennai.
The Permanent Account Number (PAN) AABTV5600N is allotted to the trust by the Commissioner of Income Tax, Tamilnadu V(1), Chennai in his letter No.CHE/107/317403003509641191/74076805 dated 11-07-2012. We are also in the provisional stage for the 80G–Exemptions through Income Tax AO: DIT (Exemptions), Chennai. ASK No.001180712047809 Dated 18-07-2012.
